Cork Midsummer Festival 2011 – 11th Jun 11
Cork Midsummer festival is an annual 16 day city-wide Summer celebration of contemporary arts & culture, combining local, national and international events to deliver unique experiences that appeal to everyone. Now in its 15th year the festival attracts audiences of over 90,000 people to experience unusual things in unusual places with theatre, off site performance, contemporary and popular music, participatory projects, mass free events, a family programme, dance, debate, ideas, visual & conceptual art.

World Street Perfomers – 11th Jun 11
Come to the Street Performance World Championships this June for the best contortionists, magicians, breakdancers, comedians and other assorted world-class professional jesters in Cork‘s Fitzgerald Park and Mardyke Sports Ground. All entertainment at the festival is entirely free of charge, with the performers, who have dedicated their lives to this amazing art form, asking for a contribution from their audience at the end of each show

Damhsa fest – 20th Jul 11
This year welcoming internationally acclaimed Folk Dance Groups from Belgium, Brittany, Greece and the Phillipines. Damhsa Fest is the only International Folk Dance Festival in the Cork Region, in fact it is the only one of its kind in the 32 counties of Ireland. Since its inception in 1995, our festival has hosted close to 30 international folk dance groups. Over these years performances were held in Cork City, as well as towns, both large and small, across the county
